The purpose of this form is to try to collect information about SAROPs that can be used to improve LandSAR Wellington.

The Management Committee has just formed a Field SubCommittee and an IMT Sub Committee. The purpose of these subcommittees will be to look after matters relating to their relevant areas, look to improve how things are working, and take recommendations to the Management Committee.

These subcommittees are brand new and only just being established, so miracles are not expected overnight, but .... good information, constructive comment and suggestions will help and will form a better channel for this feedback to get considered.

Wayne Stevens will chair the IMT sub committee and I will chair the Field sub committee. More information about these Sub Committees will be in the newsletter when the subcommittes are up and running! However, having had a few searches recently, this seemed like an opportunity to get things underway and try a new idea - this form!
NB: Normally, you would receive just one form after each OP, but here you have 3 forms - one for each of the 3 SAROPs the other week.

Anyone with information about the missing party or clues found or areas not searched etc should pass that type information on to the police or IMT asap (ie this form is not the place for it).

Information about what went well and we want to keep doing, and what didn't go so well and how we can improve ourselves is what we are looking for.
So please use the form below to provide suggestions and constructive comment or ideas. Its easy to be critical, so please try to also say what is going well too. That way, these good things can be valued and kept - maybe you know of something that doesn't always go well, is new or we always do brilliantly!

You do not need to fill in all sections - just those areas that you have particular suggestions or comments about. If you do not have any feedback, then do not reply to the form. If you think of another suggestion later, then fill in another form as well.
